• You may not create multiple accounts
• You may not share your account with others

3. User Conduct

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to unlawful acts
• Violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• Infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• Submit false or misleading information
• Upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
• Spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape
• Use the service for any obscene or immoral purpose

Profile Guidelines

• Profile photos must be of yourself and accurately represent your current appearance
• No nudity, sexually explicit content, or suggestive poses
• No promotional content or advertising
• No contact information in photos or prompts
• No hate speech, discriminatory language, or offensive content

4. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Hinge, but you grant us a license to use, modify, and display your content in connection with our service.

Our Content

Hinge and its content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our content without permission.

6. Safety and Reporting

Safety Guidelines

• Always meet in public places for first dates
• Tell a friend or family member about your plans
• Trust your instincts and report suspicious behavior

7. Subscription and Payments

Free and Paid Services

Hinge offers both free and paid subscription services. Paid subscriptions provide additional features and are subject to the terms outlined at the time of purchase.

Billing and Cancellation

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You can cancel at any time through your account settings
• Refunds are subject to our refund policy and applicable law
• Price changes will be communicated in advance

8. Termination

By You

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your profile and matches will be removed from other users' feeds.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice, at our sole discretion.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or technical issues.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hinge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
